The schlub she was with didn’t look too happy that the blonde was volunteering so much info. Now I can see that she was driving the convo and leaving out some logistical clues and convo cues. Definitely some chick game going on. Has Rollo written about how women weave logistical info into convos?
My “daf*ck” moment came because I didn’t realize at the time what was going on–very typical for autists. Somehow I got switched into birddog mode–I think the blonde did it. At least I eventually figured it out.
If you look at word count, the blonde invested around 50 words and I invested 17. She was working hard. There was no time for her to ask me questions.
Now I wonder what she would have been thinking. Was the logistical info for a date or hookup? Her “Air Force” cue/clue seems to indicate that she’s looking for some sort of connection off of the dance floor. It’s like she wanted me to ask where she was based and start figuring out logistics. Very hard to know with any certainty what she was thinking, but my spidey sense is tingling and it’s usually conservative. My reading of her is that she’s pretty slick, so it’s not surprising that she slipped under my radar. She has seen me dancing at my dance bar with my wife before. Hmm. Gotta watch myself.
